Importer Mod for PHPizabi 0.848b C1 [ALICIA]

INSTALLATION

STEP 1

Upload the files in the tpls folder to your theme/default/templates/invite folder

STEP 2

Upload the php files in the php folder to your modules/invite folder

STEP 4

Open mod.config.php change the info to yours

Note there are 2 ad links at the bottom that you can chnage to whatever such as a customer referral link. I havnt tried using a ad code from say google etc so i dont know if it will work

STEP 5

Open sent.php

locate: $header="FROM: Site Name <;;;;;;;;email address>;;;;;;;; rn";

add your site name where it says Site Name and add your from email address

STEP 6

Open the sent.tpl and where it says {sitename} add your site name, the brackets need to be deleted.

STEP 7

I made this mod so it did not replace the current tell a friend module, becasue it is still useful recommending people to a certain page, so I'd recommend adding a link to the new tella friend wherever you think it needs to go

A couple notes:

People have said that it doesnt inport all there contacts, this import ONLY imports people from your address book it DOES NOT import your messenger contacts if they are NOT in your ADDRESS BOOK

This importer sends all the contacts the email at the same time, this may cause some hostings companies to get aggrevated in teh same way they would if you used the default mass mailer in izabi. If we find a way to limit the amounts sent at the same time or a better way to handle it this update will be available to you for free.
