Access common web services from a single application
Rambox is a Open Source and Cross Platform messaging and emailing application that combines many common web applications into a single interface.
Instead of using multiple apps or having to use your web browser, you can access and manage all your online services from a single application. Rambox currently supports Gmail, Outlook, iCloud Mail, Skype, Steam Chat, TweetDeck, WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram, LinkedIn Messenger, ICQ, Hangouts and many other service providers, even custom services.
You can choose to be notified of new messages in your accounts, set a master password, synchronize your configuration between different computers, and more.
Getting started with Rambox is easy, simply select the service you want to use from the list and choose how you want to be notified of new messages. Once you have authenticated the service, it will be added as a new tab from where you can access your messages.

Unlike other products of the same type, Rambox does not limit the number of accounts. I tested it with 7 accounts on Yahoo and 3 accounts on Gmail (a total of 10), and works as a charm, although the computer must have plenty of RAM. However, there is a small issue with Yahoo: it does not detect it as a modern browser, and thus falls-back on the basic Yahoo Mail interface (which is poor comparing to latest). In the end, I say BRAVO to the developer for this piece of software! I use it on an everyday basis, and it makes my tasks a lot easier. Just brilliant! |
