After a failed hantavirus narrative, the World Health Organization (WHO) is desperately trying to create a new scare with the alleged Ebola threat in Congo. This is due to the organization’s serious financial problems after the Trump administration withdrew the US, leaving behind huge budget deficits.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus addressed the global health situation during a press conference, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in responding to disease outbreaks such as Hantavirus.
The WHO chief said the recent outbreak serves as a reminder of the continuing threat infectious diseases pose to global public health and stressed that strong collaboration between countries is essential to strengthen global health security.
Tedros also pointed to the response to the outbreak linked to the expedition vessel MV Hondius as an example of how international coordination can help manage emerging health threats. He thanked the people of Tenerife for their solidarity and support for passengers and crew affected by the outbreak.
The WHO said such cooperation and rapid response remain critical in preventing the spread of infectious diseases and protecting global health.
