Gamestarter Multiplayer tab for Warrior Kings - Battles makes it very easy to find players, host and join. It comes with its own kind of lobby. You can save Ips of good hosters and fill in Ip as easy as possible.
Say goodbye to going back to desktop to check if the hamachi ip is written right, all is automated (well nearly :D) I would say the program is kind of necessary so i would like you to download it, especially if you want to find a multiplayermatch.
Of course there are other changes like improved program stability (if you switched tabs in earlier versions it was a bit buggy), this makes it much more comfortable to use.
Now you can not only find players through Steam (where you need to have them in your friends list), no! You can find them through the Game Starter. That also means EVERYONE can play with you, if in steam or not. It makes the communication more easier. So do me a favor and download it to rock the multiplayerservers again. Dont let WKB DIE!
Other features from older versions:
- Adjust start ressources, and even set them to unlimited (this
works for single and Multiplayer.
- Set the population limit as high as you want, even to unlimited,
which allows you to build hordes of units.
- new high definiton resolutions. Yes its possible to set your own screen resolution, and they are even NATIVE. If your res. isnt in the Launcher contact me.
- the Warrior Kings Editor is implanted in the launcher, which was created by Tobias Liebhard (aka Tobiwahn Kenobi). This allows you to edit existing maps by adding units building ans change the enviorment by chopping down trees, or planting new ones. That means you can also create multiplayer missions. Ai isnt supported yet.
- check the startposition of all maps, because WKB has startposition bound to player count this is very helpful, you can start team based matches very easy now.
