No matter which option you choose though, Spelr always uses the clipboard as a middle man. Any spell checks and corrections are performed in the clipboard and then pasted back into your document, either manually or automatically.

While this approach makes Spelr application independent, it does not allow for real-time spell checks and spelling errors are not marked with the common, red curly line (although the Spelr logo appears to indicate otherwise).

Spelr is compatible with Mozilla dictionaries in multiple languages and offers customizable auto-correction and personal dictionary entries.
